On December 11, 2015 at the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce holiday luncheon,  Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels was the recipient of a $5000 donation from Eastwick College founder Tom Eastwick. Meals on Wheels Executive Director, Jeanne Martin (lower left), met with members of local law enforcement, government officials, business owners and representatives from the Westwood For All Ages initiative over breakfast on March 3rd at the Iron Horse Restaurant in Westwood. The group discussed senior hunger and isolation issues that face Bergen County homebound seniors and  how they can utilize shared services to promote awareness and provide resources to those in most need.

An anonymous donor arranged for over 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to be delivered to Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels! We are thrilled and excited to begin delivering these familiar treats to our clients.

Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels would like to thank our amazing sponsors, partners and guests for their support of our Theater Night fundraiser. On Thursday, October 6th, the Bergen County Players put on a benefit performance of Cabaret. It was a great night of musical theater with proceeds going directly to support Meals on Wheels' ongoing efforts to provide nutritious meals to Bergen County seniors in need. Additional thanks to Ascend Home Health and Oradell Health Care Center for their support and contributions.

Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels hosted their2nd Annual Senior Bear Hugs Project. Donations of brand new Teddy bears were collected from PVMOW volunteers and from others throughout the community. The bears were hand delivered to some lucky clients just in time for Valentine's Day.  The clients LOVED receiving their bears and the look on their faces was priceless. We cannot wait for next year!

PASCACK VALLEY MEALS ON WHEELS CELEBRATES THE ROARING 20'S

On Friday, October 10th, PVMoW held their annual gala fundraiser. Held at the Ridgewood Country club and honoring Westwood Mayor, John Birkner, the evening was filled with food, flappers and live jazz. Politicians, business owners, families and friends gathered to lend their support to the organization, who for 42 years, has been dedicated to feeding hungry senior citizens in northern Bergen County.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS PARADE DECEMBER 5TH

On Saturday, December 5th, Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels took part in Westwood's annual "Home for the Holidays" Parade. The PVMoW team drove the parade route in a beautiful new Subaru courtesy of Town Motors Subaru as part of their partnership in Subaru's annual SHARE THE LOVE EVENT!

Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels will once again be partnering up with Town Motors Subaru for the annual SHARE THE LOVE EVENT sponsored by Subaru of America! From November 20th through January 2nd, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the purchaser's choice of participating charities (including PVMOW!). Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels is happy to have the support of Town Motors again this year and looks forward to a successful event!
